The group of companies Fozzy Group was founded in 1997. For 10 years of its acitivity on the market of Ukraine the business of Fozzy Group increased in 150 times – as of the end of 2007 the company’s turnover reached USA 1.5 billion.

Today the Group has 18 variant business lines.  

Retail business is a key and priority direction in further development of the company:

• Wholesale hypermarkets "Fozzy" (4) (Kyiv, Odessa, Rovno) ,
• Supermarket chain "Silpo" (150),
• Convenient market chain "Fora" (128), 
• Chemist’s chain “Bud' zdoroviy” (20),
• Pharmaceutical supermarkets “Bila romashka” (3) 

Industrial lines:

• CJSC “Nezhinskiy canning”. Production and realization of canned vegetables.
• Poultry farm “Varto” LLC. A full cycle of broiler chickens production.
•  “Ruta” LLC,  meat Processing plant in Malin. Production of sausages and manufactured meat.
• “Eco-service Ukraine” LLC. Lease, servicing and sales of mobile toilet cabins.

 The headcount of the Group of companies Fozzy Group is over 30 000 employees.

1997

• foundation of Fozzy Group
• opening of the first Fozzy Cash&Carry in Kyiv

1998-1999

• development of trade business: wholesale, distribution of products form the biggest producers
• a number of permanent suppliers increased up to
• 3 000 that offered over  15 000 different trademarks of foodstuff

2000 

• reorganization into the group of companies, retail business development, foodstuff production
• acquisition of 99.53% shares of CJSC “Nezhinskiy canning”.
• acquisition of 41.73% shares of “Kyiv wholesale markets company”

2001

• foundation of “Silpo” chain, opening of 5 supermarkets in Kyiv, development of trade chains in Kyiv, Nezhin, Dnepropetrovsk and Khmelnitsky
• launch of utility service project “Eko-service Ukraine”

2002

• development of “Silpo” chain up to 22 stores, Fozzy
• С&C – up to 2 stores
• opening of drugstore network “Bud’ zdoroviy”
• foundation of convenient stores “Fora” chain (2 stores)

2003-2004

• acquisition of “Dnepryanka” chain, start of reformatting into convenient stores “Fora”
• further development of “Silpo” and “Fora” chains: 53 “Silpo” and 18 “Fora” had been opened by the end of 2004  
• purchasing of confectionary named after F. Engels

2005

• expansion in the number of “Silpo” supermarkets,  opening of new stores in the following cities:

Kyiv  (6), Vinnitsa, Lvov (3), Kharkov (4), Kerch (3), Rovno (2), Kremenchug (1), Odessa (1), Cherkassy (1), Ivano-Frankovks (1), Khmelnik (1), Dneprorudniy (1), Krivoy Rog (1), Khmelnitsky (1),

• creation of ТМ «Otto Shtekker»

2006

• development of “Silpo” chain up to 105 supermarkets

• launch of own trade mark “Premia” in such  chains as “Silpo”, “Fora”, Fozzy C&C
• opening of e-shop “GONZA – magazine samokhod”
• implementation of the project on production and sales of ready meals and ready-to-cook food in “Silpo” supermarkets
• implementation of the project on  the French bakeries opening in the stores of trade chain
• migration of the group of companies to the software SAP
• conclusion of agreements on strategic partnership with the company “UVK” (“Ukrainski Vantazhni Kuriery”  

2007

• development of “Silpo” chain up to 143 supermarkets,
• development of “Fora” chain up to 79 stores,
• opening of the fourth hypermarket Cash&Carry in Fozzy C&C chain,
• launch of the program for regular customers of “Silpo” chain – “Vlasniy rakhunok”,
• foundation of “Garage Mobile Group” company,
• acquisition of “Bumi-market” retail chain,
• conclusion of agreement on cooperation with  the retail chain “Kit” in Zaporozhe,
• signing of agreement with Delta-Bank on financial services rendering on the territory of “Silpo”, “Fora”, Fozzy C&C chains

2008

• development of “Silpo” chain up to  150 supermarkets,
• opening of the first convenient market “Fora” with new design in Kyiv,
• opening of the first pharmaceutical supermarket “Bila romashka” in Kyiv,
