| PLTM “Premia”: growth by 600% for two years of its activity |

The Group of companies Fozzy Group announced the results of development of products PLTM “Premia” that have been sold in hypermarkets Fozzy C&C, supermarkets “Silpo” and convenient markets “Fora” for two years. The assortment of PLTM “Premia” was increased in six times – from 87 product items in 2006 to 520 product items in 72 categories in 2008. The turnover doubled within the previous year – from 4% to 8% (results for 2007). The Group of companies Fozzy Group managed to achieve such growth performance due to high quality criteria, customer networking and choice of producers – leaders in their categories.
For the first time in December 2006 the customers could estimate the quality of products under private label trade mark “Premia”. For two years Fozzy Group specialists managed to widen the range from 87 product items to over 520 product items. The stock was filled with the products that were not previously proposed in the category PLTM of any chain of supermarkets: packed frozen seafood, delicacy fish, frozen pizza, sausages etc. In 2008 the chains offered non-grocery goods PLTM “Premia” (kitchen and house cleaning products, wipes).
The customers’ concern and excess demand for products were driven by the following advantages of PLTM “Premia”:
1. Excellent quality of products:
- The company values its name, thus we check the quality of products for its chains very thoroughly. Unique expertise allows to determine the best producers-partners – leaders in each category,
- Regular testing in independent laboratories provides a systematic quality control,
- Customers can dial a hotline number (8 800 300 2010) and express their considerations regarding the goods quality that will help the company to improve the products.
2. Optimal choice:
1. Over 520 product items in 72 categories meet demand for daily products,
2. Customers can be confident in quality of the products choosing any product under PLTM“Premia”,
3. Qualitative products under PLTM“Premia” at reasonable prices can be easily found for its recognizable package design.
3. The price is lower by 5-20% comparing with the same products from other producers due to:
1. Small trade margin – Fozzy Group gives a part of its profit in order to allow the customers to buy qualitative products at reasonable prices,
2. Minimum expenditures for advertisement and distribution,
3. Good assortment – there are not any donor products in the range of PLTM“Premia”, all the goods are in demand.
Cooperating with Fozzy Group the producers have a range of advantages: optimal planning of production capacity and production expansion that result in decrease of ultimate prime cost of products, quick feedback with the end customers, participation in development of innovative products, partnership with the chain.

In 2007 the samples of products under PLTM “Premia” were presented on the exhibition “World of Private Label” International Trade Show, the most significant event for the international retail.
Products under PLTM “Premia” received numerous rewards in independent tests initiated by the magazines “Spravochnik potrebitelya” (customer guidance) (issued by the Independent Consumer Expertise Research Center “TEST”) and “Ekspert vkusa” (expert of taste) (the first specialized expert magazine in Ukraine about the food stuff market for ultimate customers, market operators and restaurateurs).

“We highly appreciate the customers’ confidence to our products”, says Galina Malyarova, Head of PLTMdepartment. “For two years of PLTM“Premia” development we managed to develop and offer the customers a lot of sophisticated products but we are always inspired by idea that the customer will get a product with trustworthy quality. Our primary goal is satisfaction of the customer every time when he or she chooses the goods under PLTM “Premia”.
In the future the Group of companies Fozzy Group plans to release milk products, increase confectionery assortment, nonfood goods for house cleaning (different types of cleansers). A discrete milestone of PLTM“Premia” development will be appearance in the premium segment: launch of mainly innovative products on the market which will have additional value for the customers. As usual the price for the products under PLTM“Premia” will be lower by 5-20% comparing with the same products of correspondent quality.
PLTM “Premia” is the first own trade mark of the chain in Ukraine that was initially presented in average price segment. PLTM “Premia” uses the chain potential and extends possibilities for the customers offering a wide range of daily goods at reasonable price with trustworthy quality and corresponds to quality of brands that are leaders in every category.
