New Cyber-Themed Silpo Opens in Lviv with NAVI 30.10.2024

On October 30, 2024, the Silpo supermarket chain unveiled a new store in Lviv, created in collaboration with the legendary esports club NAVI (Natus Vincere).

The store's concept immerses visitors in the history of cyberculture — fr om the era of early computers to modern cybercore, a style inspired by futuristic and sci-fi fashion.

The designers carefully planned every detail. They crafted the store sign from keyboard keys, styled the checkout areas to resemble circuit boards, and added a playful surprise — a cash register labeled 404. Store columns display Silpo's website code, and the beverage section is styled as a server room. A symbolic detail in the interior is a Windows-style 'Silpo 98' logo that marks the year the chain was founded.

The supermarket also features an area dedicated to esports and NAVI.

"The concept choice for this store wasn't random — Lviv is often called the unofficial capital of Ukraine's IT community. We dreamed of collaborating with NAVI when designing the cyberculture-themed Silpo. Today, we're proud that our store includes a dedicated zone for Ukraine's most titled esports club. On LED screens, visitors can watch highlights of NAVI's victories and experience the thrill of their triumphs," said Kateryna Oguryaeva, Silpo's Marketing Director.

"As the most awarded esports club in Eastern Europe with Ukrainian roots, we're incredibly proud to be represented in one of Ukraine's largest supermarket chains — Silpo. This partnership helps us reach a wider audience and connect more closely with our fans. The collaboration with Silpo is an important step in our goal to develop esports in Ukraine and make it more accessible to everyone," commented NAVI CEO Yevhen Zolotarov.

To mark the store's opening, NAVI and other esports influencers donated exclusive items for a charity raffle. Visitors were able to participate by donating at least 100 UAH to a special fund and providing their name and contact number. The raffle took place on November 4 via the Monobank app. All proceeds went toward tactical medical supplies for GUR units, the Da Vinci Wolves Battalion, Azov Brigades, and the 3rd Assault Brigade as part of the 'Plus for Life' project.

In addition to innovative design, the supermarket offers a wide range of products, including delicacies from over 80 countries and crafts from Ukrainian farmers in the 'Shop of Traditions' ('Lavka Traditsiy') section. Guests can buy fresh baguettes, bread, croissants, smoked fish, and other cooked dishes on-site daily.

In case of power outages, the store has a care and resilience zone wh ere visitors can use free Wi-Fi and charge their devices.

The 1,660 m² supermarket is located at 122 Antonovycha Street, in the 'Vertical' Mall, and is open daily from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
