Silpo dedicates new supermarket in Chornomorsk to Ukrainian rescue dogs 09.06.2023
A new Silpo supermarket has been opened in Chornomorsk, Odesa region, at 19 Myru Avenue. This is the first Silpo in this city, with a trading area of 900 square meters.

The Silpo team decided to dedicate the design of this store to superhero dogs. In 2016, a monument to St. Bernard dog Lord was placed near the polyclinic in Chornomorsk. For more than 10 years, the faithful dog continued to wait for his deceased owner near the building of the medical facility where he worked. Lord was a beloved favorite of the city's residents and became a symbol of loyalty and devotion.

The design of the store is made in the style of comics about Ukrainian four-legged heroes. Chapa, a psychologist dog from the Zaporizhzhia State Emergency Service, helps displaced children. Cherkasy shepherd-diver Naida is engaged in search and rescue operations. A rescuer from Kyiv, Labrador Chegevaro, has been rescuing people from the rubble of a house. Labus, a signal dog who served in the UPA. These and other stories are illustrated on the walls of this colorful store.

Signs in the trading hall are made in the form of "speech bubbles" as another reminder of the comic book style. The checkout lightboxes are made in the form of a superhero emblem. Much attention is paid to the illustrations, which tell the real, heroic stories of dogs.

The supermarket guests accompanied by the four-legged legends will be able to order their favorite pizza, choose warm bakery products and buy fish or meat for a delicious dinner.

For the comfort of guests, Silpo has 4 classic checkouts and 5 self-checkouts open from 8:00 to 22:00.
