Fozzy group`s retail chains turnover increased by 18% 23.04.2015
By 2014 results turnover of Fozzy Group’s retail business increased by 18% and amounted to more than UAH 36,1 billion comparing to 2013. In recent years Group of companies has maintained a trend of growth in the commercial direction, while continuing to focus on offering the widest range of products, ensuring the quality services and goods in retail chains. At the beginning of 2015 the 37.7 thousand employees was occupied in the trade sector of Fozzy Group.

In 2014 the Group of companies continued to expand the trade chain. During the past year were opened 29 stores, 4 Silpo supermarkets, 25 Fora convenience stores. The total number of stores at the beginning of 2015 amounted to 477: 248 Silpo, including three Le Silpo, 9 Fozzy Cash & Carry and 212 Fora.

In 2014, the Quality Department of Fozzy Group led the process of monitoring the quality of products in the chain to a new level:  in April was opened a quality control laboratory, which after 6 months of its work has received certification at the state level by the “Kyiv Regional Research and Production Center for Standardization, Metrology and Certification State Enterprise.” Among the main tasks of laboratory are scheduled checks the product’s quality, including its own brands as well as the operational tasting of products for physical, chemical and organoleptic characteristics. This certificate allows us to build a new level of relations with suppliers to provide our customers with quality products opportunities, which is the priority for Fozzy Group.

In June last year was launched a new business direction – a chain of travel agencies Silpo Voyage. As part of one of the largest retail and industrial groups in Ukraine a chain of travel agencies has already established itself on a market as a responsible business. Silpo Voyage cooperates with the largest tour operators, airlines and reservation systems in Ukraine and worldwide. In less than a year the new chain has opened 11 offices in Kiev and sold vacation tours for more than 1000 families.

Fozzy Group has strengthened the position of its “Own Import without Intermediate Sellers", increased in 2014 the number of suppliers all over the world to 580 manufacturing companies. Group increased its imports of bottled wine in the country, increasing its products supplied by almost 100% comparing to the indicators of 2013. By the end of 2014 "Own Import without Intermediate Sellers" includes more than 6,000 articles of permanent goods and 1,500 seasonal ones.  

Fozzy Group’s private labels product range also continued to grow. So, in 2014 private labels product range has expanded up to 2350 different names of products in 380 categories. More than 20 new categories released in mid-price segment under  trade mark  "Premia" and "Premia Rіkі Tіkі." Currently, retail chains products of products are selling under 11 PL s: Premiya Select premium products, mid-price segment – Premiya, Premiya Riki-Tiki, Premiya Wine Club (PWC), Zelena Krayina, Zonk!, Protex, low segment – Povna Chasha, Povna Charka, EXTRA!, Instinct.
The Silpo retail chain continues to develop a program for regular customers "Vlasnyi rakhunok":  in 2014 the audience increased by 4, 01 million households that represent  more than 10 million participants. Studying the personal preferences of program cardholders, the "Vlasnyi Rahunok" team provides to its customers attractive individual offers, which are based on the history of their purchases. Thus, last year for the participants of the program were sent about 8 000 000 certificates to purchase their favorite products of the chain. In 2014 at the Silpo retail chain started a program of the supermarkets reconstruction to provide even more pleasant shopping for guests. The renewed store, convenient location and department’s design, was noted not only by guests, but also by Silpo employees who got more comfortable  condition and new equipment for work. We should also mention the individuality of the supermarket on the Oles Gonchar Street, 96, which renewed design was decorated by dozens of original graphics.

2014 brought the Fozzy Group, a group of companies, several awards among which were the victory of the Silpo retail chain in two nominations in National Prize of Retail Awards-2014 "Consumer Choice."  Nizhynsky Cannery was marked as one of the best agro companies in Ukraine at the annual awards ceremony "Agrarian Elite of Ukraine 2014"

In order to attract to the chain young cadres, the team of Silpo retail chain established of "Ambassador” student scholarship program. The program enables students to gain practical experience, a stable income, take special training and get a job in Silpo chain. During 3,5 months in Kiev universities was the selection of participants took place, 7 Ambassadors gathered about 600 forms, as a result of the program, 29 people get the job in the Silpo chain.

In 2015, Fozzy Group, a group of companies, continues to develop the retail chains Silpo, Fozzy Cash&Carry and Fora, introducing improvements in operational processing, offering new services and ensuring the quality of goods and services.
